School District & Special Instruction Programs

Early Intervention services (birth to three) are available through most school districts in Skagit County. Please contact the Lead Family Resource Coordinator at SPARC or individual school districts for more information. Each of the school districts in Skagit County provides evaluation and special education services for pre-school children beginning at age three in accordance with state and federal laws. If a delay is suspected in any of five areas (cognition, communication, physical, adaptive, and/or social emotional) the school will provide an interdisciplinary evaluation by professionals. If a child is determined eligible for school services, a preschool program including an IEP will be provided. No Cost. Contact special services program by school district.
